Calvin Ayre Announces Bodog Conference has been postponed
June 19, 2006 - Bodog CEO Calvin Ayre has announced due to U.S. Legislation that the Bodog Conference has been temporarily postponed. This really doesn't come as a surprise with the current state of online gaming in the U.S. Over the weekend, CEO of BetOnSports David Carruthers and others in the company were detained by U.S. Feds. This afternoon Calvin Ayre, CEO of Bodog formally announced the postponement of the 2006 Bodog Marketing Conference. This doesn't come as a tremendous surprise with the recent detainment of the owners and CEO of BetOnSports by U.S. agents. The scheduled Party, however, will go on as planned at Tao at the Venetian on Tuesday, July 25th at 9 p.m. If you plan on attending the party, please RSVP: rsvp@bodog.com. Each of you will be fully refunded for your conference registration and sponsorship fees, and we will be in contact with you shortly about this postponement. If you need to reach us immediately about your reservations at the Wynn, call us toll-free at 1-866-591-0217. If you are an affiliate or an advertiser, please contact your local account manager. I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you, but in spite of what has happened of late we chose to act with your best interests in mind. I assure you that we will make it up to you with a bigger and better conference to be announced in the near future. Bodog.com will carry on our business as usual and will continue to lead the way in digital entertainment. -Calvin Ayre, Founder and CEO of Bodog.com
